Hello TTW family!
 Pastor Kris here with our next big announcement...

The Sole Podcast is launching next month! 
I'm so excited about this. We're already in production, and the stories are so good! It's a little different than what you're used to on TTW. We're heading into the studio to record interviews with some amazing people sharing powerful testimonies. It's all about God's grace through tough issues, and the stories are phenomenal. I can't wait to share them with you. One thing I guarantee - you're gonna talk about it!

But before we launch, we need a logo! So, we're having...

The Sole Podcast Logo Contest!
That's right, we want you to send us your ideas for our new logo. Graphic artists, aspiring artists, or just creative TTW fans with great ideas, we want you to submit a drawing for the new Sole Podcast logo. Here's the details...

• Draw your Sole logo idea following the guidelines below.
• Email to info@throughtheword.org by Friday August 30. 
• Subject: Sole Logo Contest

• We will post entries on Facebook.com/throughtheword. Vote for your favorite!
• The winner will be decided by TTW and the artist will receive a bag of TTW swag!

Logo Entry Guidelines

• Text: "Sole Podcast"
• Tagline: "Great Stories. Tough Issues. Grace in the Real World." (The image above has a different tagline we considered previously).
• Our Image Ideas: You are welcome to come up with your own ideas, but here's what we've brainstormed so far. Our basic concept is a shoe print with mud splattered about. The idea is a believer stepping out into the muddy world and leaving their footprint. The text can be scrawled in the mud. We also considered sneaking in other elements into the mud splatter - like a cross, the TTW logo, headphones, or a Christian dove symbol. But we don't want to make it busy - so any added stuff should be subtle. We like simple, striking images. 
• Colors: We are undecided on color at this point. We will likely match the TTW logo orange, or use something that matches it well. TTW orange is a gradient from #FC6A04 to #F9A236.

Donations are Moving! Plus Free TTW Water Bottle!

Hey TTW! Pastor Kris here with two big announcements:

1. We're moving all donations to Church Center.

This requires just a little work from you, with a lot of benefit for both you and the ministry. Three basic reasons: lower fees (20% less!), stronger security, and better giving process. Don't worry, there were no security issues with the old site. We just believe in always improving!

Countdown to Big News...

Hey friends! Just wanted to give you all a heads up that we have some big announcements coming very soon! We've been keeping quiet because we've been busy working. With several big projects just about ready for release - I decided that it's time to start telling you about them! But I don't want to do that all at once - so this is basically a heads up: big things are coming! So please - watch here for the news in the next few weeks. This is some big stuff. We have a bunch of new audio guides on the way - from me, Peyton Jones, and Jonathan Ferguson. I'll tell you what books and when you'll get those. We're also working on an all new podcast launching soon! This one is so cool - interviews with amazing people and phenomenal stories of God's grace. Can't wait to tell you about the Sole podcast. And we're updating the app! TTW 3.0 is in beta testing, so I'll have some details on that. Plus big opportunities for us in translation of Through the Word.

But the first announcement coming later this week will be a new donation platform. We're making it simpler and more secure for you to give. We haven't had any problems or issues, we just believe in security, simplicity, and always improving. So that announcement will be coming this week, along with an opportunity to get a TTW water bottle. Stay tuned!
