Welcome to my blog! Okay, so there's really not much to see yet. In fact, I'm not really going to write anything interesting yet. Nor will this post have much of a topic. Other than itself. I'm actually just writing this right now in order to have a blog started. The blog will go on the Through the Word app v. 2.0. That is exciting, because I will finally have a place to communicate news, updates, and random fun stuff or stories that come up around here that just don't quite belong in one of the audio guides. A link for the blog will appear on the TTW app homepage - so you can stay connected with me, with ministry, with new audio guides available, new stuff in the works like translations, features, small group ideas - all kinds of great stuff! I'm especially excited about sharing stories. I can't even tell you how many crazy and funny things happen to me in ministry on a regular basis - but there just isn't enough room on the short audio guides to get them in. Actually, I guess I can tell you - on the blog! Well, on the next post anyway.
But right now, no one is reading this yet, so this post is really just filler. For now. Don't worry, later posts will be much more interesting, I promise! Our programmer Scott told me I need to start the blog now so that he can put the link on the app to test it out. So that's what I did. But for now, since no one is reading this....
Filler, filler, filler. Fill fill filler, fill filler. Fiiilllllllllllllllleeeeeerrrrrrrrr....
Filler.
Why are you still reading this?!! I told you this one was pointless. It's in the title! Surely you have better things to do. Like what you say? Like read my other blog posts that must be up by now! Those will be quite fascinating, I'm sure of it. I haven't read them yet, but I know they have to be better than this one! Seriously, you should go there. Or maybe you already read those? Then what else is there to do? That's a tough one.
Hmmm. What else could I use for filler? What's that Latin sentence that always gets used for filler in template documents? Lorem Ipsum bla bla bla. If this were an interesting blog post, I might have some fascinating history behind the ol' Lorem Ipsum shpeel. But this isn't that. This is just filler. I did get myself curious about it, so I checked Wikipedia, and it turns out the Lorem Ipsum is derived from a phrase that means, "pain itself." That's weird. But that's as far as I got.
Well, I think that's just about enough filler to establish this as a real live blogpost. When I come back, I promise to have real stories. And for those of you who decided to go back in time to read this blog in spite of its pointless content, and especially for those of you who are still reading now after I have clearly explained just how pointless this is... I thank you. If you liked this, your gonna love when I get to something real!
In Christ,
Pastor Kris
